How to avoid the uniboob

In case anyone reading this is unaware of what a “uniboob” is, we thought we would educate you with this great definition according to the prestigious urban dictionary:

“When it looks like you have one massive breast. This usually happens when a girl wears a sports bra or one of those tank tops with the shelf bra”

Another common word used to describe the uniboob is “smooshage”. Unfortunately,  women all over the world worry that their sports bra will make them look like they have a uniboob! No matter how big or small your breasts are, it is a true fact that some sports bras can create this dreaded look!

The not so funny thing about the uniboob look is it can cause serious chaffing and irritation; that’s the last thing you need when working out! Not to mention, the point of a sports bra is to minimize any movement!

  • I truly wish could find something comfy supportive and pretty and affordable. even though your prices don’t seem that expensive they are for me. live on SSDI . I do make jewelry by picking pieces up at lawn sales or people giving me old pieces and make new out of old jewelry. I miss working so bad. Unfortuately don’t get the excersise use to so gained a lot of weight I take a 5x in Tshirt bra have 2 bought one got one free from layne Bryant for 20.00 they are comfy but not supportive or pretty. I wish Could trade work for Bra’s . I know you are prob laughing but that is my wish. God Bless.

  • I ware a 40H. That’s way tomuchboob for one woman. No support. And just can’t find a sports bra to fit me. These things hurt me.

  • My shoulders hurt a lot and wearing a bra dosent help because the shoulder straps feel like they’re trying to murder me, so I started wondering if I should wear sports bras but I don’t know if that would work so I’m here asking if there’s anything that might help my shoulders not want to kill me for wearing a bra?

  • I live in Florida. I love shelf bra camis, but because I wear a 38DD, my breasts are smashed together. It’s not a good look. I really don’t want to wear a bra under a spaghetti strap type camisole, It’s not only uncomfortable, but it’s not a good look. I wish there was some item that one could place INSIDE a shelf bra camisole that would separate the breasts. I don’t believe there is such a thing.
