Hotter Than the Sun, This Summer’s Top Bras

When the trees are bursting with color and the sun comes out to play it’s time to ditch the boring winter grays (hopefully you’ve left those well behind anyways since it’s already July!) As it gets hotter outside you also tend to ditch the multi-layers of clothing for whatever will keep you the coolest. This is the perfect reason to add some fun, new bras to your lingerie drawer since there will probably be a strap poking out or a glimpse of a cute lacy bra under a top.

For the lingerie world there are a lot of trends to look at that can be overwhelming and confusing, so after lots of research we bring you the top three trends that popped up wherever we looked, some even coming together on certain bras.

Flirty Prints

If you’re looking for something girly and fun there are lots of floral prints to choose from or, if you’re craving something a little more vixen-ish, you can always rely on a great leopard pattern (not a leopard fan? Maybe you’re more of a zebra kind of gal!).

50 Shades of Red

Clockwise from left: La Perla, Soma, Victoria’s Secret Pink, Victoria’s Secret

As you can see there are so many shades of red out there that match every taste, from a neon red t-shirt bra to a peek-a-boo bralette. Red is the perfect color to spice things up with someone special or even to wear under a mesh top for a night on the town with the ladies.

Sexy Sheer

You can try a bit of boldness with a completely sheer piece or a hint of sheer across pretty lace. A sheer bra is light enough to wear under an airy top to keep you cool, but just make sure nothing’s showing when you walk out the door (we don’t want to have a fashion “oops” moment)!
